The car market is shifting back towards SUVs rather than small cars but the minivan segment maintained its market share. The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica AWD offers more of the same with some improvements to technology and safety. With all the new features, the Pacifica is now a more family-friendly minivan that is also suitable to carry a considerable cargo.
From the outside, the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica AWD does not stand out in any particular way. It has the design of a modern car but nothing too flashy. The headlights are narrow with LED daytime running lights contouring them from beneath. The front grille is rather large while the bottom side holds LED fog lights, contoured by a grey bumper element.
The sides of the van do not have many creases or distinctive design elements. For the rear, things are a bit different as the Pacifica has taillights that extend from one side to the other with one long LED strip.
Engine and Transmission
The AWD version of the Pacifica features a 3.6-liter petrol engine. It delivers 287-hp and it is paired with a nine-speed automatic. There is also a hybrid version that has 27 less hp but has much better fuel economy, especially in the city. On the highway, the hybrid will not offer much of an advantage.
Tech and Safety Features
The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica AWD has all the bells and whistles of a modern car, offering excellent safety for all passengers. It has front and side airbag curtains as standard protecting the driver and all passengers from all types of collisions.
Driver-assistance features are also present and add to the safety features of the Chrysler Pacifica 2021.
